Who should skip it

Skip it if you don't have Qingxiao built or planned; the 5pc trigger (Tune Strain - Shifting) is specific to her kit, and the +30% Aero DMG window doesn't help a non-Aero team.

How to activate the bonus

The 5pc bonus procs after Tune Strain - Shifting, not just from equipping the pieces. You have to land that hit to get the 15-second +20% Crit DMG / +30% Aero DMG window.

Main Echo options

• Calamity Effigy, a 4-cost Echo added in the current version, is Qingxiao's main pick: it carries an Aero DMG Bonus that scales further while she's applying Tune Strain, matching this set's own trigger.

Main-stat exceptions

Qingxiao's own notes list two viable spreads: 4-Cost Crit Rate/Crit DMG with four ATK% pieces (44111), or a double Aero DMG Bonus variant that swaps in a 3-Cost Aero DMG Bonus piece (43311).

Keep your current set, or refarm this one?

Qingxiao's item notes named Sierra Gale (an Aero 2pc set) as a stopgap for players still farming toward Heart of Evil's Purge. Now that the set's main Echo has released, that stopgap matters less than it did right at launch, but Sierra Gale is still a reasonable placeholder if you haven't finished farming the full 5pc yet.
