Should you build Rover (Aero)?

Aero Rover is a team healer who also converts several elemental status effects into Aero Erosion. Their loop builds Windstrings through Cloudburst Dance and other attacks, then spends a full gauge on the two-part Unbound Flow. Outro temporarily raises the target's Aero Erosion stack limit for the next character.

What to know before spending pulls

Rover does not require a character-banner pull. The base kit already has team healing through Cloudburst Dance and Liberation, status conversion through Skyfall Severance, and the Aero Erosion cap increase through Outro. Start with an available sword and learn when the team wants its existing status stacks converted before investing in a premium weapon.

Do you need the signature weapon?

Bloodpact's Pledge is the weapon designed around Aero Rover. At level 90 it has 588 ATK and 38.9% Energy Regen. Healing grants 10% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus for 6 seconds, and Unbound Flow gives nearby active Resonators 10% Aero DMG Amplification for 30 seconds. Emerald of Genesis is a standard alternative with 588 ATK, 24.3% Crit Rate, 12.8% Energy Regen, and up to 12% ATK after two Resonance Skill casts. Bloodpact's Pledge strengthens Rover's support role and Liberation uptime; Emerald of Genesis is easier to share with other sword users and improves Rover's personal stats.

Another character copy or the weapon?

S1 means Aero Rover's first Resonance Chain upgrade. It gives Cloudburst Dance interruption resistance for three seconds, helping Rover complete the two healing stages under pressure. Bloodpact's Pledge instead supplies Energy Regen and an Aero damage handoff after Unbound Flow. S1 solves a specific interruption problem; the weapon improves the repeat support cycle. Neither is required for Windstrings, status conversion, healing, or the Outro stack-limit effect.

Advice for your account

New account using Emerald of Genesis

Use it as a general damage option when it is already available. Its Energy Regen supports Omega Storm, and the two Unbound Flow attacks can build the weapon's Skill-triggered ATK stacks.

Aero Erosion team

Use Outro before the next character applies or refreshes Aero Erosion. Aeolian Realm lasts 30 seconds, but the target's raised stack limit begins after the incoming character lands a hit and lasts 10 seconds.

Team carrying convertible status stacks

Use Skyfall Severance only when converting those stacks is part of the plan. It removes all Spectro Frazzle, Havoc Bane, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, and Electro Flare stacks from the target, then applies one Aero Erosion stack for each removed stack.

Rotation and troubleshooting

Easy rotation

Enter with Intro to gain 20 Windstrings, then press Normal Attack to perform both Cloudburst Dance stages, gaining 25 Windstrings from each stage and healing the team. Continue the normal string through Stages 3 and 4 for 10 Windstrings each. Cast Awakening Gale and, if the team needs status conversion, use Skyfall Severance while airborne. Press Normal Attack to perform both Cloudburst Dance stages again and reach the 120-point Windstrings cap. Resonance Skill then becomes Unbound Flow; use both attacks to spend the full gauge. Cast Omega Storm when ready for damage and another team heal, then leave through Outro before the Aero Erosion teammate's setup.

Opening vs. repeat cycles

Intro supplies 20 Windstrings and immediately unlocks Cloudburst Dance, so it shortens the first fill. Without Intro, use Awakening Gale or Razor Wind to unlock Cloudburst Dance and gain the missing Windstrings through Basic Attack Stages 3 and 4 or Dodge Counters. If Rover switches out after the first Unbound Flow attack, the second attack triggers automatically.

Why this skill priority

Forte Circuit and Liberation lead because Windstrings, Unbound Flow, Cloudburst Dance healing, Omega Storm damage, and Omega Storm healing define the complete role. Resonance Skill follows because Awakening Gale starts a Cloudburst route and Skyfall Severance performs the status conversion. Basic Attack supports Windstrings through Stages 3 and 4 and Razor Wind.

Required buffs and assumptions

The fast fill assumes Intro is available and each Cloudburst Dance stage lands. Skyfall Severance has value only when the target carries one of the five named removable status types. Outro does not immediately add Aero Erosion by itself; the incoming active character must hit a target during Aeolian Realm to raise that target's stack limit by three for 10 seconds.

Energy Regen target

No minimum Energy Regen target is listed in the current build data. Omega Storm is Rover's energy-dependent team heal, so Energy Regen affects repeat sustain. Bloodpact's Pledge supplies 38.9% Energy Regen, while Emerald of Genesis supplies 12.8%.

Troubleshooting

Unbound Flow does not replace Awakening Gale

Likely cause: Windstrings has not reached the 120-point maximum.

Check: Check the gauge after both Cloudburst Dance stages. Intro grants 20, each Dance stage grants 25, and Basic Attack Stages 3 and 4 or Dodge Counter grant 10 each.

Fix: Complete the missing Cloudburst stage or use another listed Windstrings source, then press Resonance Skill at the full gauge.

Skyfall Severance applies no Aero Erosion

Likely cause: The target had no supported status stacks to convert.

Check: Look for Spectro Frazzle, Havoc Bane, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, or Electro Flare before using the midair Skill.

Fix: Have the matching teammate apply the intended status first, or skip Skyfall Severance when the team has nothing to convert.

Aero Erosion still stops at its normal stack limit after Rover's Outro

Likely cause: The incoming character has not hit that target during Aeolian Realm, or the target's 10-second increase expired.

Check: Confirm Rover left through Outro and the new active character dealt a hit before applying the extra stacks.

Fix: Outro directly into the Aero Erosion applier, hit the intended target, then build the extra stacks within the 10-second window.
