Should you build Lucy?

Lucy is a Spectro Heavy Attack damage dealer with Hack support and a programmable Liberation. Build her when you want an on-field carry who can mark enemies with debuffs, enter Algorithm Compaction, and pass Basic Attack amplification to the next character through Outro.

What to know before spending pulls

Her complete damage loop exists at S0. The key account requirement is enough field time to build TCP and Root Access before using Multi-threading and Old Net Deep Dive. Rebecca is a particularly direct partner because Lucy's Intro enhances Rebecca's targeting and turret, while both characters interact with Hack.

Do you need the signature weapon?

Spectral Trigger is Lucy's featured weapon. At level 90 it has 588 ATK and 48.6% Crit DMG. Resonance Skill grants up to 40% Spectro DMG Bonus, and inflicting Hack - Shifting grants 30% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification plus 10% Heavy Attack DEF ignore for 14 seconds. Phasic Homogenizer has the same ATK and Crit DMG, adds 12% ATK, and grants 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 14 seconds after anyone on the team uses Tune Break. The featured weapon follows Lucy's normal Skill and Hack loop; Phasic Homogenizer is useful when the team triggers Tune Break reliably, but its main bonus is conditional on that event.

Another character copy or the weapon?

S1 means Lucy's first Resonance Chain upgrade. It prevents interruption during Payload, Pulse Interference, Dual Threading, and Multi-threading; Intro also grants 20% ATK for 14 seconds. Its Quick Action effect can reapply recorded Spoofing Program statuses after the marked target is defeated. Spectral Trigger instead strengthens her Spectro and Heavy Attack damage during every normal cycle. Choose S1 when interruptions are breaking the Compaction combo or when repeated enemy waves can use Quick Action; choose the weapon for the more direct damage package.

Advice for your account

New account learning the Liberation menu

Start with simple debuffs. Cyberware Malfunction costs 4 RAM and makes marked targets take 5% more damage; Breach Protocol costs 4 RAM and lowers their DEF by 5%. Lucy starts with 24 RAM, so you can select both and still have room for damage or utility choices.

Account using Rebecca

Lucy and Rebecca have explicit kit interaction. Lucy's Intro lets Rebecca target enemies behind obstacles and temporarily enhances Rebecca's turret, while Lucy's Function Cracking can grant Network Backdoor to both characters after a marked boss is defeated.

Account without reliable Tune Break timing

Phasic Homogenizer loses its 20% damage bonus until someone uses Tune Break. Use Spectral Trigger or another weapon whose condition your rotation activates consistently rather than treating the second listed weapon as unconditional.

Rotation and troubleshooting

Easy rotation

Enter with Intro Skill, then use Payload and its automatic follow-up before casting Pulse Interference. Continue normal and Heavy Attacks until TCP reaches 100. Cast Deadlock to enter Algorithm Compaction and gain one SQL. Attack in Compaction until Root Access reaches 100, then hold Normal Attack for Dual Threading and follow immediately with Multi-threading. Multi-threading spends SQL for its 270% multiplier increase and unlocks Old Net Deep Dive. Cast the enhanced Liberation, select the Spoofing Programs needed for the fight, mark the targets, then hold Normal Attack to trigger Override and close the interface.

Opening vs. repeat cycles

Intro makes the next Pulse Interference grant 20 extra TCP, so an Intro cycle reaches Deadlock sooner. Deadlock resets after either Liberation, and casting Liberation clears TCP and ends Algorithm Compaction. Later cycles therefore restart the TCP build, but any 30-second Spoofing Program debuffs from the previous Override may still be active.

Why this skill priority

Resonance Liberation is first because Netrunner and Old Net Deep Dive contain Override and every selectable Spoofing Program. Basic Attack follows because most of Algorithm Compaction, including Thread Shredding, Dual Threading, and Multi-threading, is housed there. Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill control entry into that damage window.

Required buffs and assumptions

The full loop assumes Lucy stays on the field long enough to reach 100 TCP and 100 Root Access. Multi-threading should be used while SQL is available; otherwise it loses the 270% multiplier increase and consumes 20% of Lucy's current HP. Old Net Deep Dive must follow before Algorithm Compaction ends.

Troubleshooting

Deadlock does not replace Lucy's Resonance Skill

Likely cause: TCP has not reached 100.

Check: Check the TCP gauge after Intro, Payload, Pulse Interference, and normal attacks. Intro makes the next Pulse Interference grant 20 additional TCP.

Fix: Land the Skill sequence and continue normal or Heavy Attacks until TCP is full, then cast Deadlock.

Multi-threading consumes HP and deals less damage

Likely cause: Lucy cast it without SQL.

Check: Confirm Deadlock successfully started Algorithm Compaction and granted one SQL before building Root Access.

Fix: Enter Compaction through Deadlock, keep the state active, and use the SQL-backed Multi-threading before any action that ends Compaction.

Old Net Deep Dive never becomes available

Likely cause: Multi-threading was not completed, or Algorithm Compaction ended before the Liberation input.

Check: Verify Root Access reached 100, Dual Threading chained into Multi-threading, and Lucy remained in Compaction.

Fix: After Multi-threading, cast Liberation immediately. Avoid an unrelated action that is not listed as a valid follow-up.
