Should you build Denia?

Denia is a Fusion sub damage dealer with separate Fusion Burst and Tune Strain modes. Both modes use the same Stagecraft-to-Breakdown resource loop, but their team buffs, status application, Echo sets, and Outro effects differ. Pick the mode for the main damage dealer before building her.

What to know before spending pulls

Her base kit supplies the mode-specific support. Fusion Burst mode gives the team 30% Fusion DMG Bonus during Entropy Shift and amplifies nearby Fusion Burst damage by 60% through Outro. Tune Strain mode grants Tune Break Boost and gives the incoming character 15% All DMG Amplification, increasing to 40% after that character inflicts Tune Strain - Shifting.

Do you need the signature weapon?

Forged Dwarf Star is Denia's featured weapon. At level 90 it has 500 ATK and 36% Crit Rate. After Denia inflicts Fusion Burst or Tune Strain - Shifting, it grants 36% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus for 5 seconds; while active, a teammate applying either status grants the team 24% ATK for 15 seconds. Augment is the listed 4-star option with 413 ATK and 20.3% Crit Rate. Its passive gives Denia 15% ATK for 15 seconds after Liberation. The featured weapon adds stronger mode-matched personal and team effects, while Augment activates from the Liberation already central to her loop.

Another character copy or the weapon?

S1 means Denia's first Resonance Chain upgrade. It gives 30% Crit DMG, protects several Stagecraft and Breakdown actions from interruption, and automatically grants the form-matched Entropy Shift when she enters combat. Forged Dwarf Star instead gives 36% Crit Rate and rewards her status application with Liberation damage and team ATK. S1 makes the first cycle safer and starts the mode buff immediately; the weapon provides the larger set of direct offensive stats. Her mode support still functions at S0.

Advice for your account

Fusion Burst team

Use Fusion Burst mode with Chromatic Foam. Maintain Entropy Shift for the 30% team Fusion bonus, apply Fusion Burst through Denia's listed attacks, and use Outro before the team's Fusion Burst damage window.

Tune Strain team

Use Tune Strain mode with Reel of Spliced Memories. Denia applies Tune Strain - Shifting and refreshes Interfered duration, while her Outro rewards the incoming character for applying Shifting with 40% DMG Amplification.

New account using Augment

Augment is enough to practice the complete form loop. Its passive activates whenever Denia casts Liberation, so it supports both Stagecraft and Breakdown casts without depending on a separate status trigger.

Rotation and troubleshooting

Easy rotation

Start in Stagecraft Form. Use Intro and Phantom Bubble, then normal attacks to build Void Particle. Cast Final Act - Stagecraft Form to enter Breakdown Form and gain the 30% ATK Entropy Shift. In Breakdown, normal attacks consume Void Particle and build Conformal Charge faster. Use Banish Stage 1 and its Stage 2 follow-up when Dark Cores are available; Stage 2 consumes them, gains 40 Conformal Charge, and increases its damage for each Core. At 100 Conformal Charge, cast Final Act - Breakdown Form to create Erosion Field, return to Stagecraft Form, and begin restoring Void Particle for the next cycle.

Opening vs. repeat cycles

When Denia enters combat in Stagecraft Form, her inherent skill restores her to at least two Dark Cores and 20 Void Particle once every 12 seconds. After Final Act - Breakdown Form, Entropy Shift: Stagecraft Form restores one Void Particle per second for 30 seconds. A repeat cycle can therefore enter Breakdown with more stored particles than the first cycle if the Stagecraft effect remained active.

Why this skill priority

Forte Circuit is first because it defines both modes, all three resources, status application, Erosion Field, and the accelerated Breakdown conversion. Resonance Skill, Intro, and Basic Attack follow because they generate Void Particle, Dark Cores, and Conformal Charge for the two Liberation casts.

Required buffs and assumptions

The same form loop works in both Resonance Modes, but the status and team payoff changes. Fusion Burst mode needs a Fusion Burst team to use its 30% Fusion bonus and 60% Burst amplification. Tune Strain mode needs the incoming character to inflict Tune Strain - Shifting to raise Denia's Outro amplification from 15% to 40%.

Energy Regen target

The build data lists about 15% additional Energy Regen. Denia casts Liberation once to enter Breakdown and again at full Conformal Charge to return to Stagecraft, so delayed energy can interrupt the form loop even when her Forte resources are ready.

Troubleshooting

Final Act - Breakdown Form is unavailable

Likely cause: Conformal Charge has not reached 100.

Check: Check Conformal Charge while in Breakdown Form. Normal attacks and Beckon generate it, while Banish Stage 2 grants 40.

Fix: Bring Void Particle into Breakdown, spend it through normal attacks for faster charge generation, and use the two-stage Banish skill when Dark Cores are available.

Banish Stage 2 deals little damage

Likely cause: Denia consumed few or no Dark Cores.

Check: Count Dark Cores before the Stage 2 input. Each consumed Core adds 150% to that attack's multiplier.

Fix: Wait for Entropy Shift to generate Dark Cores or enter through Intro, then cast Banish when at least one Core is stored.

The incoming Tune Strain character receives only 15% amplification instead of 40%

Likely cause: The incoming character has not inflicted Tune Strain - Shifting, switched out, or Denia changed modes.

Check: Confirm Denia used Outro in Tune Strain mode and the incoming character applied Shifting during the 16-second window.

Fix: Outro directly into the Tune Strain applier, use their Shifting action early, and keep that character active for the damage window.

How to Play

When in Stagecraft Form, attacking the target grants Void Particle. When in Breakdown Form, consume Void Particle and convert it into Conformal Charge that charges up Final Act - Breakdown Form. When in Entropy Shift states, gain Dark Cores over time, which unlock the Enhanced Resonance Skill. Casting Resonance Liberation - Stagecraft Form grants Denia Entropy Shift: Breakdown Form, which increases her ATK. Casting Resonance Liberation - Breakdown Form grants Denia Entropy Shift: Stagecraft Form, which continuously restores Void Particle.
