Lupa Build Guide

Should you build Lupa?
Lupa is a Fusion sub-DPS who mixes Skill, Heavy Attack, and Liberation damage while supporting Fusion and Basic Attack teammates. Her personal loop spends Wolflame to create two Wolfaith, uses Dance With the Wolf, then repeats the process faster during Burning Matchpoint.
What to know before spending pulls
Her complete resource loop and team support work at S0. Fire-Kissed Glory grants Pack Hunt and Glory for 35 seconds, but several bonuses scale with the number of Fusion characters or apply only against Overlord and Calamity targets. Her Outro should go directly to a Fusion character who deals meaningful Basic Attack damage.
Do you need the signature weapon?
Wildfire Mark is Lupa's featured weapon. At level 90 it has 588 ATK and 48.6% Crit DMG. Intro or Liberation grants 24% Liberation DMG Bonus for 6 seconds; dealing Heavy Attack damage extends it by 4 seconds and gives the team 24% Fusion DMG Bonus for 30 seconds. Autumntrace is the listed 4-star option with 413 ATK and 20.25% Crit Rate. Basic or Heavy Attack damage builds up to five 4% ATK stacks. Wildfire Mark supports Lupa's Liberation-classified Forte attacks and her Fusion team, while Autumntrace offers a straightforward personal ATK ramp.
Another character copy or the weapon?
S1 means Lupa's first Resonance Chain upgrade. Fire-Kissed Glory restores 10 Concerto Energy and grants Lupa 20% Crit Rate for 10 seconds, while Dance With the Wolf: Climax becomes immune to interruption. Wildfire Mark instead supplies Crit DMG and team Fusion damage after Lupa extends its Liberation bonus with a Heavy Attack. S1 improves the speed and safety of her handoff; the weapon adds broader damage support to the normal S0 cycle.
Advice for your account
Pack Hunt gains another 10% Fusion DMG Bonus against Overlord and Calamity targets, and Glory reaches its strongest Fusion RES ignore condition when all three teammates are Fusion.
Use Lupa's Outro directly into that carry for 20% Fusion DMG Amplification and 25% Basic Attack DMG Amplification. Both end when the incoming character switches out.
Lupa's normal and Wolflame-spending Heavy Attacks naturally build its ATK stacks. It provides no team Fusion bonus, so its value is limited to Lupa's personal field time.

Rotation and troubleshooting
Easy rotation
Cast Shewolf's Hunt and use Feral Fang before its follow-up window closes, gaining 30 Wolflame. Use Normal Attacks until at least 50, then hold for Wolf's Gnawing to spend 50 and gain one Wolfaith. Build another 50 Wolflame and use Wolf's Claw for the second Wolfaith, then cast Dance With the Wolf. Use Fire-Kissed Glory to restore 100 Wolflame, immediately follow with Foebreaker to spend it and enter Burning Matchpoint, then use the faster Wolflame gain from Normal Attacks to perform two more 50-point Heavy Attacks. At two Wolfaith, cast Dance With the Wolf: Climax. Use Outro to switch within eight seconds and have the incoming teammate cast Liberation to trigger Set the Arena Ablaze.
Opening vs. repeat cycles
Intro routes directly to Mid-air Attack Stage 3, which can become Firestrike when Wolflame reaches 50. That provides an aerial alternative to Wolf's Gnawing for the first Wolfaith. On repeats, check whether expired Wolfaith converted back into 50 Wolflame before deciding which spender is available.
Why this skill priority
Forte Circuit and Liberation lead because Wolflame, Wolfaith, both Dance attacks, the off-field assist, Burning Matchpoint, Pack Hunt, and Glory define Lupa's personal and team value. Basic Attack contains all three 50-Wolflame spenders, while Resonance Skill supplies 30 Wolflame and marks the target for Feral Fang's higher multiplier.
Required buffs and assumptions
The sequence assumes each Wolfaith spender is completed within the ten-second Wolfaith duration. It also assumes Feral Fang is used promptly after Shewolf's Hunt and Lupa remains active for the follow-up. The off-field assist requires a teammate Liberation within eight seconds after Dance With the Wolf or its Climax.
Energy Regen target
No minimum Energy Regen target is listed in the current build data. Fire-Kissed Glory is still central because it starts the 35-second team buffs, restores 100 Wolflame, and enables Foebreaker. Lustrous Razor is the listed option that adds 12.8% Energy Regen if Liberation timing is inconsistent.
Troubleshooting
Feral Fang becomes unavailable after Shewolf's Hunt
Likely cause: The follow-up input window expired or Lupa switched out.
Check: Feral Fang enters cooldown if it is not cast in time and is also lost when Lupa switches.
Fix: Press Resonance Skill again immediately after Shewolf's Hunt before performing other actions or leaving the field.
Dance With the Wolf is unavailable after one enhanced Heavy Attack
Likely cause: Lupa has only one Wolfaith, or the ten-second duration expired and converted the point back into Wolflame.
Check: Dance requires two Wolfaith. Each Gnawing, Claw, or Firestrike grants one after spending 50 Wolflame.
Fix: Build and spend the second 50 Wolflame before the first Wolfaith expires.
Set the Arena Ablaze does not trigger after switching
Likely cause: The next character did not cast Liberation within eight seconds of Dance With the Wolf or Climax.
Check: The assist can trigger once in that eight-second window and specifically responds to a teammate Liberation.
Fix: Switch immediately after Dance and use the next character's Liberation early in their rotation.

How to Play
Hitting a target restores Forte Gauge - Wolflame. With at least 50 points of Wolflame, Heavy Attack and Mid-air Attack Stage 3 restore Wolfaith at the cost of Wolflame. Enhanced Resonance Skill is available when Wolfaith is full. Source: Wuthering Waves Fandom wiki (https://wutheringwaves.fandom.com/wiki/Lupa/Combat), community content under CC BY-SA.
