Should you build Lucilla?

Lucilla is a Glacio sub damage dealer with two distinct support modes. Glacio Chafe mode lowers enemy Glacio RES and amplifies Glacio Chafe damage; Echo mode raises team Echo Skill damage and gives the incoming character 50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification. Choose the mode for the team rather than treating them as interchangeable.

What to know before spending pulls

Her base kit already supplies the main mode-specific buffs. Freeze Frame supports Glacio Chafe mode, while Lethean Elegy is the weapon listed for Echo mode. Decide which team you are building before choosing a weapon or Echo set, because the recommended weapon, set, Liberation damage type, and Outro effect all change with the mode.

Do you need the signature weapon?

Freeze Frame is Lucilla's featured weapon for Glacio Chafe mode. At level 90 it has 588 ATK and 24.3% Crit Rate. Inflicting Glacio Chafe gives Lucilla 30% Glacio DMG Bonus for 12 seconds and the team 24% ATK for 30 seconds. Echo mode instead lists Lethean Elegy, which has the same ATK and Crit Rate; after Echo Skill damage, it grants 32% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus, 32% Echo Skill DMG Amplification, and 8% DEF ignore for 12 seconds. Freeze Frame is not the automatic choice for Echo mode, because its passive is built around Glacio Chafe while Lethean Elegy directly rewards Echo Skill damage.

Another character copy or the weapon?

S1 means Lucilla's first Resonance Chain upgrade. It makes the first successful Perfect Focus timing immediately fill the Focus Ring, adds 20% Crit Rate for 10 seconds after Spotlight, and prevents interruption during Phantom Frame and Tracing Forms Stage 3. The weapons improve one of her two mode packages instead. Choose S1 when missed timing or interruptions regularly break her three-Photo setup; choose the mode-matched weapon when the setup already works and you want its team or damage effect.

Advice for your account

Glacio Chafe team

Use Glacio Chafe mode with Wishes of Quiet Snowfall and Freeze Frame. Spotlight reduces nearby enemies' Glacio RES by 8%, Liberation prepares Film Roll stacks, and Outro amplifies Glacio Chafe damage by 60%.

Echo Skill team

Use Echo mode with Moonlit Clouds and Lethean Elegy. Spotlight gives the team 25% Echo Skill DMG Bonus, Liberation supplies Zoom for Echo Skill Crit DMG, and Outro gives the incoming character 50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 14 seconds.

Player struggling with Perfect Focus

S1 reduces the execution cost by making the first successful Perfect Focus fill the ring and by protecting key actions from interruption. Without S1, waiting for the Focus Ring to fill automatically still produces the Commendable or Spotlight result, but takes more field time.

Rotation and troubleshooting

Easy rotation

Choose Lucilla's mode for the team before starting the cycle. Enter with Intro Skill to gain 100 Trace, which creates two Photos. Hold Resonance Skill and release inside Perfect Focus to cast Spotlight, gain 50 Trace, and create the third Photo. Cast Liberation at three Photos to enter Reminiscence. Hold Normal Attack through Tracing Forms Stage 3 so Oblivion consumes the Photos, then let the string finish with Letting It Go. Leave through Outro to pass the selected mode's support effect to the team.

Opening vs. repeat cycles

Intro gives 100 of the 150 Trace needed for three Photos, so an Intro cycle needs one successful Spotlight or Commendable timing to finish the setup. Without Intro, Lucilla must build all 150 Trace through her Focus Ring actions. Switching modes ends the active Film Roll, Zoom, Spotlight, and Outro enhancements from the previous mode, so do not change modes during a planned team cycle.

Why this skill priority

Resonance Liberation is first because Clear As Day starts Reminiscence and changes its damage type and bonuses with Lucilla's selected mode. Forte Circuit follows because it governs Trace, Photos, Film Roll, Zoom, and the Oblivion attacks that consume Photos. Resonance Skill is next because a successful Spotlight completes the common Intro setup and applies the mode-specific team effect.

Required buffs and assumptions

The rotation assumes Intro is available and Spotlight lands successfully. Glacio Chafe mode also assumes the team applies Glacio Chafe to spend Film Roll and use the Outro amplification. Echo mode assumes the incoming damage dealer uses Echo Skill damage during the 14-second Outro window.

Troubleshooting

Clear As Day remains unavailable

Likely cause: Lucilla has fewer than three Photos.

Check: Count Photos and Trace. Every 50 Trace creates one Photo, up to three; Intro gives 100 Trace and Spotlight gives 50.

Fix: After Intro, land one Perfect Focus Spotlight or Commendable Basic Attack Stage 3 to reach 150 total Trace.

Spotlight gives no extra Concerto Energy or mode-specific support effect

Likely cause: The input released outside Perfect Focus and cast Compensate, or Lucilla switched out before Spotlight finished.

Check: Confirm the skill name is Spotlight rather than Compensate and keep Lucilla on the field through the hit.

Fix: Hold Resonance Skill until the cursor reaches Perfect Focus, release there, and do not switch characters during Spotlight.

Lucilla gives the wrong type of team buff

Likely cause: Her selected Resonance Mode does not match the team.

Check: Glacio Chafe mode applies Glacio RES reduction and Chafe amplification. Echo mode applies Echo Skill bonuses and amplification.

Fix: Select Glacio Chafe mode for a Chafe team or Echo mode for an Echo Skill damage dealer before starting the rotation.
