Should you build Phrolova?

Phrolova is a Havoc damage dealer who combines Resonance Skill damage with Hecate's Echo Skill damage. She builds six Volatile Notes, spends them with Scarlet Coda while Compose is ready, then enters Maestro and lets Hecate continue attacking after Phrolova leaves the field.

What to know before spending pulls

Her full six-Note cycle and off-field Hecate work at S0. Compose becomes available every 25 seconds, so filling Notes early does not bypass that timer. Her Outro supports Havoc and Heavy Attack damage, while using it during Maestro also makes Hecate perform two additional enhanced attacks after Phrolova switches out.

Do you need the signature weapon?

Lethean Elegy is Phrolova's featured weapon. At level 90 it has 588 ATK and 24.3% Crit Rate. Echo Skill damage activates 32% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus, 32% Echo Skill DMG Amplification, and 8% DEF ignore for 12 seconds, matching both sides of her kit. Fusion Accretion is the listed 4-star option with 463 ATK and 18.225% ATK. Resonance Skill grants 10% ATK for 16 seconds, but its 6 Resonance Energy restoration has no value for Phrolova because her maximum Resonance Energy is zero and Waltz costs no energy. Lethean is the complete damage option; Fusion Accretion provides only its ATK effects here.

Another character copy or the weapon?

S1 means Phrolova's first Resonance Chain upgrade. It raises the multipliers of both Reincarnate follow-ups by 80% and, outside Maestro, generates Cadenza Notes while out of combat until she has at least two. Lethean Elegy instead strengthens Skill and Echo damage after any Echo Skill hit. S1 shortens the opening Note setup and improves its attacks; the weapon strengthens the full Scarlet Coda and Hecate cycle.

Advice for your account

Phrolova as an off-field damage dealer

Enter Maestro, fill Concerto, and use Outro. Hecate then attacks automatically while Phrolova is off-field, and teammate Echo Skills can trigger enhanced Hecate attacks up to ten times in that Maestro duration.

Havoc or Heavy Attack carry team

Phrolova's Outro grants the incoming character 20% Havoc DMG Amplification and 25% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification for 14 seconds. Send it directly to the character who uses those bonuses.

Account using Fusion Accretion

Use Skill early to activate its 10% ATK increase. Do not count its Resonance Energy restoration as a benefit for Phrolova, since her Liberation is unlocked by Resolving Chord rather than an energy meter.

Rotation and troubleshooting

Easy rotation

Enter with Suite of Quietus, then press Normal Attack to route into Basic Attack Stage 3. Continue with Movement of Fate and Finality, cast Whispers in a Fleeting Dream, and follow with Murmurs in a Haunting Dream. Use an Echo Skill during the setup. These Intro, Basic, Forte, Skill, Forte, and Echo actions supply the six Volatile Notes, including Cadenza Notes created through Accidental. When Compose is ready, hold Normal Attack for Scarlet Coda to consume the setup and enter Resolving Chord. Cast Waltz of Forsaken Depths to enter Maestro, build full Concerto, then use Outro so Hecate continues attacking off-field and performs two extra enhanced attacks.

Opening vs. repeat cycles

Entering combat grants ten Aftersound stacks, which add Crit DMG and strengthen Scarlet Coda. During Maestro, enhanced Hecate attacks made while Phrolova is off-field add more Aftersound for a later cycle. Compose has a 25-second interval, so a repeat rotation can have six Notes ready but still need to wait before Scarlet Coda becomes available.

Why this skill priority

Liberation and Forte Circuit lead because Maestro, Hecate, Aftersound, all six Notes, Reincarnate follow-ups, and the off-field enhanced attacks form the complete cycle. Basic Attack contains Scarlet Coda and the Stage 3 Note source. Resonance Skill supplies the Winds route and activates Reincarnate for another Note-producing follow-up.

Required buffs and assumptions

Scarlet Coda requires six Notes, Compose, and no active Resolving Chord state. Waltz is available only after Scarlet Coda creates Resolving Chord. Once Maestro begins, switching back to Phrolova ends the state, so the off-field plan assumes the team stays on the other characters until Hecate's window is finished.

Energy Regen target

Phrolova has zero maximum Resonance Energy and Waltz consumes none. Energy Regen does not unlock her Liberation; Scarlet Coda and Resolving Chord do. Build Crit, ATK, and Resonance Skill damage instead of treating Energy Regen as a rotation requirement.

Troubleshooting

Scarlet Coda is unavailable with six Volatile Notes

Likely cause: Compose is still on its 25-second cooldown or Phrolova is already in Resolving Chord.

Check: All three conditions must be true: six Notes, Compose active, and Resolving Chord inactive.

Fix: Keep the Notes prepared until Compose returns, then hold Normal Attack before entering Resolving Chord by another route.

Waltz of Forsaken Depths is unavailable

Likely cause: Scarlet Coda has not placed Phrolova into Resolving Chord, regardless of her Energy Regen.

Check: Phrolova has no Resonance Energy meter requirement; Waltz appears only in Resolving Chord.

Fix: Build six Notes, wait for Compose, cast Scarlet Coda, then use Liberation.

Hecate's off-field attacks stop early

Likely cause: The player switched back to Phrolova, which ends Maestro, or the 24-second state expired.

Check: Confirm Phrolova remains off-field and the team has not re-entered through her Intro during Maestro.

Fix: After Phrolova's Outro, finish the other characters' field time before returning to her for the next cycle.
