Should you build Suisui?

Suisui is a Glacio support and healer for teams built around Negative Status effects. Her Liberation raises status stack limits, and her Outro grants the whole team 25% All DMG Amplification for 30 seconds. She is most valuable when the main damage dealer can use those status interactions.

What to know before spending pulls

Her base kit already provides healing, status support, and the 25% team damage amplification. She wants enough Energy Regen to cast her Liberation reliably and to scale the bonuses that begin above 200% Energy Regen. Variation is a usable 4-star option because it gives 51.8% Energy Regen at level 90 and restores Concerto Energy after a Resonance Skill.

Do you need the signature weapon?

Firstlight's Herald is Suisui's featured weapon. At level 90 it has 413 ATK and 77% Energy Regen. It also adds 12% Max HP, restores 8 Concerto Energy after her Liberation, and can give the team 20% ATK after Suisui both inflicts Glacio Chafe and heals. Variation is the simpler 4-star alternative: it has 338 ATK, 51.8% Energy Regen, and restores 8 Concerto Energy after a Resonance Skill. The featured weapon gives more Energy Regen, HP, and a team ATK effect; Variation covers the two resources she needs to reach her Outro more consistently.

Another character copy or the weapon?

S1 means Suisui's first Resonance Chain upgrade. It lets allies with Undulating Mist gain ATK after they inflict or deal Negative Status damage, doubles the duration of Reflecting Shadows from her third Plume Step, and gives several Drizzle Stance attacks interruption immunity. Her featured weapon gives more Energy Regen and can add a 20% team ATK buff. S1 expands the status-team payoff after a 600 Floral Epistle Outro, while the weapon makes her resource and support package easier to build. Choose S1 only if your team reliably reaches and uses that 600-point effect; otherwise the weapon's Energy Regen is the more direct improvement.

Advice for your account

New account with Variation

Use Variation and focus on reaching a reliable Liberation and Outro cycle. It gives Energy Regen and Concerto Energy without asking you to learn another passive condition. Suisui's healing and 25% team damage amplification remain part of her base kit.

Status team that reaches 600 Floral Epistle

S1 has a clear use here because the 600-point Outro grants Undulating Mist, and S1 adds an ATK increase when that ally applies or deals Negative Status damage. If you usually leave Suisui below 600, that part of S1 does not activate.

Team that does not use Negative Status effects

Suisui still heals and her Outro still grants 25% All DMG Amplification, but much of her Liberation and S1 value is tied to status application, consumption, or damage. Check whether another sustain fits the team better before spending on her extra copies or featured weapon.

Rotation and troubleshooting

Easy rotation

Bring Suisui in with her Intro Skill when possible. It grants Enrichment, pulls enemies together, and puts her directly into Drizzle Stance. Cast Resonance Liberation to create Ceaseless Landscape. In Drizzle Stance, use her Resonance Skill and normal or Heavy Attacks to build Floral Epistle. Aim for the highest threshold your team needs, then use Outro Skill to hand the field to your damage dealer. Her Outro grants 25% All DMG Amplification; reaching 200, 400, or 600 Floral Epistle adds further effects.

Opening vs. repeat cycles

If Suisui enters without her Intro Skill, she starts in Zephyr Stance. Build Cloud Breath with her Resonance Skill and normal attacks, then cast Awakening Spring at 120 Cloud Breath to enter Drizzle Stance. Later cycles can use the same route whenever Intro is unavailable. Ceaseless Landscape lasts 30 seconds, so recast Liberation before an Outro if the field has ended.

Why this skill priority

Intro Skill and Resonance Liberation lead because they start her support cycle: Intro grants Enrichment and enters Drizzle Stance, while Liberation creates the field that enables her status support and Roaming Transcendent Plume Steps. Resonance Skill follows because it helps fill Cloud Breath or Floral Epistle in the relevant stance.

Required buffs and assumptions

The basic 25% All DMG Amplification comes from Suisui's Outro and does not require 600 Floral Epistle. The additional thresholds do. At 200 points she can perform the first Plume Step while Ceaseless Landscape is active. At 400, Energy Regen above 200% can increase the active Resonator's damage, up to 12%. At 600, the first Plume Step enables Undulating Mist for the team's later Outros.

Energy Regen target

Her 400-point and 600-point bonuses only scale from Energy Regen above 200%. Reaching exactly 200% activates no extra scaling from those formulas. Build enough Energy Regen to cast Liberation on schedule first; values above 200% then increase the threshold bonuses, up to their stated caps.

Troubleshooting

Suisui leaves the field but no Plume Steps occur

Likely cause: Ceaseless Landscape was not active when she used Outro, or she left with less than 200 Floral Epistle.

Check: Confirm that Resonance Liberation created the field and that Floral Epistle reached at least 200 before Outro.

Fix: Cast Liberation before leaving and build at least 200 Floral Epistle in Drizzle Stance. Use her Drizzle Resonance Skill for 100 points and land Drizzle attacks for the remainder.

The active character does not receive the Energy Regen-based damage bonus

Likely cause: Suisui used Outro below 400 Floral Epistle, her Energy Regen is not above 200%, or the active character is outside Ceaseless Landscape.

Check: Check all three conditions: at least 400 Floral Epistle consumed, more than 200% Energy Regen on Suisui, and the active character standing inside the field.

Fix: Build to 400 before Outro, keep the fight inside Ceaseless Landscape, and add Energy Regen only if you want this bonus to scale.

Undulating Mist and its ATK increase never appear

Likely cause: Suisui did not consume 600 Floral Epistle, the first Plume Step has not happened yet, or the incoming Resonator did not consume Negative Status or Electro Rage stacks.

Check: Confirm the 600-point Outro, wait for the first Plume Step, then verify that a later Outro passes Undulating Mist to the incoming Resonator.

Fix: Reach 600 before Suisui's Outro and keep Ceaseless Landscape active. After the first Plume Step, use an Outro into the character who will consume the required status stacks.

How to Play

Suisui's Resonance Liberation, Rippling Waters, is the reason to build her: it hands the whole team 25% All DMG Amplification for 30 seconds, a flat multiplier on top of whatever the DPS is already doing. Getting there means managing Floral Epistle through her Drizzle Stance combat, and her passive, Glimmering Gold, gives the team a one-time safety net: if another Resonator would be knocked out, they survive at 50% of Suisui's current HP instead, and she takes the HP loss. That passive only fires once every 10 seconds, so it isn't a substitute for a real healer against a boss that can chain-kill. Her Intro Skill and Resonance Skill also restore Concerto and Resonance Energy on hit and temporarily raise Crit Rate and Glacio DMG on the target, which is where the Energy Regen-first stat priority above comes from.

Player Guidance

Beginner

The reflex to build her like a pure healer is the wrong one. Her healing is a side effect of playing her rotation correctly, not the point of running her.

F2P

Firstlight's Herald is her signature; Variation, a 4-star on the Build tab, covers the same Energy Regen without a 5-star pull. Stellar Symphony works too if it's already built for another support.

Progression

She pairs with whichever DPS actually benefits from a flat team-wide damage buff: Yangyang: Xuanling with Chisa, Hiyuki with a Glacio Chafe Lucilla, or either Fusion Burst pairing of Aemeath and Denia, on the Teams tab.
